‘’What I like about photographs, is that they capture a moment that’s gone forever, impossible to reproduce.’’
I find it a little awkward to write about myself, so I will let my clients do it for me …
My name is Latzo and I have been a wedding photographer for over 5 years; to me it really is the most incredible and rewarding profession in the world. I spend my time capturing so many special moments and emotions, expressed through laughter, tears of joy and pure love between couples, family and friends – and all in some really brilliant settings. It really is a privilege to photograph days like that every week.
You may have heard of the term ‘documentary wedding photographer’ and this is the style of my work; it is so important to me that my photographs record the story of your day, in the most natural way possible. I capture everything; the beauty and charm of your venue, the details that you have spent so many months planning, the atmosphere, the connections between you and your loved ones, and those unique and wonderful moments that happen throughout your day – some of which you will inevitably miss, but will take so much joy from when you receive your photographs.
I am a very relaxed and down-to-earth guy. I encourage you to just be yourselves, act exactly as you feel and enjoy every moment. If you don’t want to pose for portraits, let’s skip that part! If you have a sudden urge to grab your newlywed and run into a field of cows, I’m right with you! If you have a list of photographs that you have your heart set on, I will make sure that I capture every single one. One couple recently described me as the ‘James Bond’ photographer due to the lengths I went to for some of their shots! You have done all the planning, now let me worry about making your amazing landscape and venue do their best for you.
I’m also an intuitive guy and I can read situations well; I know when to fall back into quieter moments, but also when to suggest what might make a great photograph when I see it. I have been a groom, and so I know what these photographs mean to you, because I know how important they are to me.
And finally, love is at the centre of my life; my passion for my work, the infectious love that I see between the couples that I photograph and of course, my family. I have two wonderful daughters, and I am married to my beautiful and amazing wife who is my biggest inspiration, my biggest critic and my biggest supporter. I also love to travel and have been lucky enough to photograph people and locations all over the world, for which I am forever grateful.
